Review: Imbroglio

Thu May 19, 2016 4:12 pm

I'm sure most of us have at some point encountered the cliché anecdote of someone missing a stop on public transit because they were too absorbed in whatever mobile/handheld game...

Really enjoying this game thus far, and I've probably only spent about a half hour with it. With Imbroglio on my phone and Pathfinder Adventures on my iPad, I'll have to fight the urge to neglect my family and just spend all my time gaming.

Agree completely - there's definitely something reminiscent of Dream Quest so far for me (and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface). And with Geigerm above, please send my regards to my family.

This game is beautiful in every aspect. I love it. I'm utterly hooked.

Finally get the hang of it. Great game, I like it on par with Dream Quest, which is far more difficult.

Still trying to figure out the deckbuilding part though.

While I am enjoying the game, Ive clearly not had the epiphany some of you have had.

Any hint on deckbuilding?

I agree with Snotty (what a horrible sentence!) As soon as I read a comparison to DreamQuest I instantly purchased the app.

It is a good game, but not in the same league as DreamQuest.

I'm not really seeing the dream quest parallel personally. It's not really a card game. I wish there was a Drem Quest II. It's a shame he went to Blizzard. I wonder how much input he had in the new Hearthstone release?

I'm still madly addicted to this game though. If you're stuck then check out the copy-board feature from the leaderboard screen. There is so much variation in this game what with the different heroes and board types. I'd love to see a quest/challenge mode but it's not really Brough's style.
