Re: CCG Week: Elder Scrolls Legends, Star Crusade & Lost Portal

Just a word to let you know that I enjoy Lost Portal. The game feels a lot like Magic, only simpler and less rich, but with an added layer of light rpg and player progression. The IA is not that smart but it gives a solid challenge. My only real beef with this game is that once a level is cleared it never refills, leaving my hero out of target. The fact that there is no way to grind some XP is both a very good thing (you really have to tune your decks to beat your foes as they are always just a little bit stronger than you) and a bad thing (no easy way to test your new decks).
Give it a try!

Lost portal is great, I agree. And you are right, the only problem is the dungeons don't respawn. So if you build a not so great deck, you can't grind. Have to start over, still a great product from a small team (1?). Reminds me of micro prose Magic the gathering, one of my all time favorites.

I just bought Lost Portal, and I am really enjoying it. I really enjoyed Spectromancer and this game has a similar feel. Two thumbs up!

Elder Scrolls Legends is available in the Canadian iOS store. It is still in beta, but there probably ain't gonna be a whipe. I guess it will be available world wide soon for ipad or if you create a Canadian apple id you can download it now. (Google is your friend in case you are not Canadian) ( Well, I guess it's also friends with Canadians, but you know what I mean ;) )

Besides that, they also released their first (single player) expansion this week in which you can collect 16 new cards.
