When it comes to real-time strategy, the mobile marketplace has big shoes to fill. From Age of Empires to Command and Conquer and Starcraft, the frantic blend of actions-per-minute with...

I would like to recommend Firefight to serious fans of WW2 RTS/simulation games.

It???s reminiscent of Close Combat but actually more realistic and better than it.
Every soldier has moral and his own will and every tank was modeled in 3D with physics engine.
Besides, the AIs for enemy units are quite smart so the game will be always challenging.

Free to play - only few stages designed as tutorial - and with IAPs you can enjoy the full game(no the pay-to-win elements at all).

Ummm probably best if you stick to games that haven't been abandoned. Autumn Dynasty has been defunct since iOS 10. Kind of disappointing to see an interesting game on a list only to see it's not available.

I'm playing a lot of strategies right now and at the same time looking for great games for Android, so that article hits home. Btw, I think it would be great if you mentioned some ports for mobiles from PC, there are lots and they usually play as well as on PC. I also recently found this Little Stars game. It's very minimalistic but is still a good time killer. It's called an RTS game but I think it's also close to a puzzle game (you just have to tap a lot :D ).
