Genshin Impact's Dahlia joins the game as a playable character on June 18, 2025, when version 5.7 launches. He's one of the featured four-star characters on Genshin Impact Skirk and Genshin Impact Shenhe's banners.
Who is Genshin Impact's Dahlia?
Dahlia is a four-star hydro sword wielder from Mondstadt. He's a deacon at the Church of Favonius and the Herald of Barbatos. Due to his role as the Anemo Archon's herald, he's fully aware that Genshin Impact's Venti is Barbatos himself. He first appeared in the Mondstadt Archon Quest Interlude: Paralogism, playing a vital role in Genshin Impact Albedo's court trial.
In combat, Dahlia is a hydro support character who synergizes well with cryo units like Skirk and Shenhe, thanks to his Benison ability. He gains one stack of Benison whenever a nearby party member hits an enemy with a normal attack or triggers a freeze reaction. Dahlia can then use these stacks to refresh his hydro shield if an enemy breaks it.
Dahlia is also a great character to use for exploration, as having him in your party increases your entire team's movement speed during the daytime. As a shield support character, his abilities will likely scale based on his max HP stats, so take that into account while gathering artifacts for him.

Dahlia's English voice actor is Aileen Mythen, an Irish actor who's most well-known for her work in children's TV. You might also recognize her as the voice of Dusk in Arknights and Niamh in The Talos Principle 2. His Japanese voice actor is Kazutomi Yamamoto, who voiced Sora Harukawa in Ensemble Stars and Momosuke Oikawa in I-Chu.
Feng Xiu is Dahlia's Chinese voice actor, and he also voices Eclipse, Fantine, and Wanqing in Arknights. His Korean voice actor, Seok Seung-hoon, is mostly known for voiceover work in movies, but does voice the Cookie Run: Kingdom character, Eclair Cookie.
