Hoyoverse welcomes us to Nod-Krai with Genshin Impact's Ineffa, a stoic, robotic maid who looks like a cross between Eula and Aegis from Persona 3. She debuts in the 5.8 update, in the patch's new archon quest. Here, you meet her and help her out with her issues.

Genshin Impact Ineffa release date
Ineffa joined the Genshin Impact character roster in version 5.8's first half, which went live on July 30, 2025. Though she was created in Genshin Impact's Nod-Krai, she's now in Natlan for the time being.
Who is Ineffa?
Ineffa is a five-star electro polearm-wielder. She also uses a deployable robot in combat named Birgitte. In "Ineffa's External Deployment and Support Agreement", Aino describes Ineffa as the "very best robot in the world", but also reminds the user that they must "respect [her] opinions and decisions," suggesting that she has some sentience.
Ineffa's title, Multifunctional Robot for Domestic Application, suggests that, much like Genshin Impact's Noelle, she initially served as a maid or cleaner in someone's home. We also know that she doesn't have a vision, instead drawing her electro power from some other source, like Genshin Impact's Skirk and the archons.
Who are Ineffa's voice actors?
Ineffa's English voice actor, Angelina Danielle Cama, has mostly appeared in live-action TV and movies up until this point. Megumi Nakajima, a successful J-pop idol and voice actor, provides Ineffa's Japanese voice. She's best known for voicing Cure Lovely from the Precure series, as well as the gen 5 Pokémon, Meloetta, in the Pokémon Black and White anime.
Meijia is Ineffa's Chinese voice actor. She's provided a range of character voices in Shining Nikki and the Pokémon Horizons anime series. Sung Ye-won voices Ineffa in Korean, as well as the Reverse: 1999 character, Kakania.
