What is the best weapon for Genshin Impact's Mizuki?

Mizuki's best weapon is the five-star catalyst, Sunny Morning Sleep-In. It's tailored perfectly to suit her on-field Swirl kit and massively raises her elemental mastery, which is what all of her talents scale with.

Mizuki's best four-star catalyst is Sacrificial Fragments. It once again ups her elemental mastery and has a chance to reduce her elemental skill's cooldown, which is her most useful ability.

Mizuki can also make great use of A Thousand Floating Dreams and Starcaller's Watch. They are both great elemental mastery stat-sticks and A Thousand Floating Dreams' skill works well in Swirl team comps.

Here are Mizuki's best weapons:

Sunny Morning Sleep-In Bonus stat: elemental mastery
Skill: elemental mastery increases by 120 for six seconds after triggering Swirl. Elemental mastery increases by 96 for nine seconds after Mizuki's elemental skill hits an opponent. Elemental mastery increases by 32 for 30 seconds after Mizuki's elemental burst hits an opponent

Sacrificial Fragments Bonus stat: elemental mastery
Skill: after dealing damage to an opponent with an elemental skill, the skill has a 40% chance to end its own cooldown. Can only occur once every 30 seconds

A Thousand Floating Dreams Bonus stat: elemental mastery
Skill: party members other than Mizuki provide her with buffs based on whether their elemental type is the same as hers or not. If their elemental types are the same, increase elemental mastery by 32. If not, increase Mizuki's anemo damage bonus by 10%. Each of the aforementioned effects can have up to three stacks. Additionally, all nearby party members other than Mizuki will have their elemental mastery increased by 40. Multiple such effects from multiple such weapons can stack

Starcaller's Watch Bonus stat: elemental mastery
Skill: increases elemental mastery by 100. Gain the "Mirror of Night" effect within 15 seconds after Mizuki creates a shield: The current active party member deals 28% increased damage to nearby opponents. You can gain the "Mirror of Night" effect once every 14 seconds

What are the best artifacts for Mizuki?

Unsurprisingly, Mizuki's best artifact set is Viridescent Venerer. This set is consistently the best pick for anemo characters and Mizuki is no different, so this artifact set is a must-equip to increase her Swirl damage and shred capabilities.

Alternatively, two pieces of Wanderer's Troupe with two pieces of Gilded Dreams can give her a big elemental mastery boost. These can work as a stop-gap while you farm more Viridescent Venerer. A full set of Instructor is also a good early-game option for Mizuki.

Here are Mizuki's best artifacts:

Viridescent Venerer Two equipped: anemo damage bonus +15%
Four equipped: increases Swirl damage by 60%. Decreases opponent's elemental resistance to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for ten seconds
Valley of Remembrance domain near Dawn Winery, Mondstadt
Wanderer's Troupe Two equipped: increases elemental mastery by 80
Four equipped: not applicable
Weekly boss drops and artifact strongboxes
Gilded Dreams Two equipped: increases elemental mastery by 80

Spire of Solitary Englightenment domain on Gandha Hill, Sumeru
Instructor Two equipped: increases elemental mastery by 80

Dreamdrifter
  • While in the Dreamdrifter state, Mizuki will continuously drift forward, dealing AoE anemo damage to nearby opponents at regular intervals
  • During this time, Mizuki can control her direction of drift, and the pick-up distance of Yumemi Style Special Snacks from the elemental burst Anraku Secret Spring Therapy increases
  • Increases the Swirl damage that nearby party members deal based on Mizuki's elemental mastery
  • Dreamdrifter ends when Mizuki leaves the field or uses her elemental skill again
Elemental burst Anraku Secret Spring Therapy
Summons forth countless lovely dreams and nightmares that pull in nearby objects and opponents, dealing AoE anemo damage and summoning a Mini Baku
Mini Baku
Follows the current active character. At regular intervals, the Mini Baku creates one Yumemi Style Special Snack nearby. After a nearby active character picks up a Special Snack, if their HP is higher than 70%, the Snack will explode and unleash a Munen Shockwave, dealing one instance of AoE anemo damage to nearby opponents. Otherwise, it will heal the one who picked it up based on Mizuki's elemental mastery. When Mizuki triggers healing by picking up a Yumemi Style Special Snack, the amount of healing is increased by 100%. If some time passes without a Snack being picked up, it will explode and release a Munen Shockwave, dealing one instance of AoE anemo damage to surrounding opponents

Mizuki's passive skills:

A1 Bright Moon's Restless Voice
When Mizuki triggers Swirl while in her Dreamdrifter state, Dreamdrifter's duration increases by 2.5 secconds. This effect can trigger once every 0.3 seconds for a maximum of two times per Dreamdrifter state

Utility All Ailments Banished
When Mizuki is in the party, party members have a chance to recover 30% additional HP when using healing foods that do not have reviving properties. The trigger chance for this effect increases with the corresponding character's friendship level. (This effect will always trigger if the Traveler is the character consuming healing food)

What are Mizuki's constellations?

If you're lucky enough to pull multiple copies of Mizuki, you can unlock additional abilities called constellations.

Here are Mizuki's constellations:

C1 In Mist-Like Waters
When Mizuki is in the Dreamdrifter state, she will continuously apply the "Twenty-Three Nights' Awaiting" effect to nearby opponents for three seconds every 3.5 seconds. C2 Your Echo I Meet in Dreams
When Mizuki enters the Dreamdrifter state, every elemental mastery point she has will increase all nearby party members' pyro, hydro, cryo, and electro damage bonuses by 0.04% until the Dreamdrifter state ends

Increases the level of Mizuki's elemental skill by three, up to a maximum level of 15
C4 Buds Warm Lucid Springs
Picking up a Yumemi Style Special Snack from the elemental burst Anraku Secret Spring Therapy will both deal damage and heal, and will restore five energy to Mizuki. You can restore energy this way four times per Anraku Secret Spring Therapy duration
C5 As Setting Moon Brings Year's End
Increases the level of Mizuki's elemental burst by three, up to a maximum level of 15

  • Elemental skill > elemental burst > normal attack

Who is Yumemizuki Mizuki?

Yumemizuki Mizuki is a yumekui-baku yokai who works as a clinical psychologist in Inazuma's Aisa Bathhouse. She treats her patients with aromatherapy and relaxation techniques before using her yokai powers to consume their harmful nightmares.

Mizuki has traveled all over Teyvat to learn the best methods for treating nightmares and has made a fair few friends along the way, including Genshin Impact's Mualani, who is helping her set up shop in Natlan. She also grew up alongside Genshin Impact's Yae Miko, and the two have a friendly rivalry.

Who are Mizuki's voice actors?

Mizuki's English voice actor is Naomi McDonald, who is best known for voicing Wuthering Waves' Yinlin and Sheba in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Aizawa Saya provides her Japanese voice, as well as the voice of Coralie in Honkai Impact 3rd and Pompeo Magno in Azur Lane.

Mizuki's Chinese voice provider, Fu Meng Ruo Wei, has voiced several characters across the Honkai series, and her Korean voice actor, Kim Seo-hyun, is an up-and-coming talent who has mostly worked on anime and shows like Super Sentai.
