Crimson thorn is a transcendent, multi-harvest crop. It arrived in the version 1.25.0 Grow a Garden update. Starting as a bright red seed with a pointed top, the crimson thorn plant grows into a sprawling mass of crimson and maroon spirals. The harvestable produce is also bright red and is made up of multiple, crystal-like spikes.
Unlike maple resin and bone blossom, the crimson thorn isn't an event seed. This makes it the first transcendent crop that isn't tied to a limited-time Grow a Garden event, so you don't have to worry about missing out.

Crimson thorn is classified as both a prickly- and stalky-type crop. This means it's affected by the stalk sprout sprinkler, and it can make use of both the hedgehog and blood hedgehog pets' abilities. How do I get Grow a Garden crimson thorn?
The main way to get crimson thorn is to buy it from the seed shop. It costs ten billion sheckles, making it the most expensive permanent crop available in the seed shop, and it only has a 0.13% (1/777) chance to be in stock. Alternatively, you can purchase it for 1,149 Robux, even if it's not currently in stock.
Outside of that, the red fox pet has a small chance of "stealing" (duplicating) a crimson thorn seed from another player's garden, and there's a very rare chance that a dog, golden lab, or shiba inu pet could dig one up. The red panda pet also has a chance of restocking it in the seed shop, and there's always a chance admins might restock it, especially during the 'admin abuse' period that happens before each update.
Once you already have a crimson thorn in your garden, there's a small chance you might get an extra seed when you harvest the crop through the lucky harvest system. The snail pet's ability can also increase the chances of this.
