What are Grow a Garden mutations?
Mutations are unique transformations that enhance the value of your crops. Instead of the standard fruits and vegetables, mutations can offer a visual enhancement which then, in turn, increases the value when you go to sell them. There are two different mutation classes that can affect your plants.
Environmental mutations are caused by, you guessed it, the environment. Extreme weather changes, like frost and thunderstorms, can cause environmental mutations as well as the pets you choose to keep on your farm.
Growth mutations happen naturally as the crop develops, and although you're somewhat at the mercy of RNG, you can boost your chances by using a pet to apply a mutation, using special tools like sprinklers, or using mutated plants as fertilizer for other crops.
