Here's everything you need to know about the Grow a Garden Seed Stages event:
What is Grow a Garden Seed Stages?
Grow a Garden Seed Stages is an event that ran from Saturday, September 27, until Saturday, October 4, 2025. It arrived alongside the 1.25 Grow a Garden update, introducing the new seed evolving mechanic, as well as a bunch of fresh crops, pets, gear, cosmetics, and more.

What are Grow a Garden evo plants?
Evo plants are alternative versions of regular crops, and are the core mechanic in the Seed Stages event. You could purchase evo seeds for four different crops from the event NPC Samuel.
Evo plants have three extra stats - plant health, growth rate, and size multiplier - and you must tend to them by feeding them other crops in order to increase these stats and help them evolve. The quality of the crop you use to tend to an evo plant determines how much you boost the evo plant's stats.
Once you harvested an evo plant's crops, you could submit them to Samuel in order to claim rewards and unlock new tiers of seeds.
Here are all of the evo plants in the Grow a Garden Seed Stages event:
- Evo pumpkin (tiers I, II, III, and IV)
- Evo mushroom (tiers I, II, III, and IV)
- Evo beetroot (tiers I, II, III, and IV)
- Evo blueberry (tiers I, II, III, and IV)
What are the Grow a Garden Seed Stages rewards?
When you submitted an evo plant to Samuel, you would get a random reward based on the plant's tier. The higher the tier and stats of the crop you submitted, the higher your chance of getting better rewards.
Here are all of the possible Grow a Garden Seed Stages rewards:
| Tier I | Three small toys, three basic sprinklers, three reclaimers, 15 event lanterns, ten watering cans, ten harvest tools, one advanced sprinkler, three normal seed packs, two common eggs, or one uncommon egg |
| Tier II | Three pet leads, two godly sprinklers, one master sprinkler, three pet name rerollers, three silver fertilizers, one gardener seed pack, two rare eggs, or one legendary egg |
| Tier III | Three gardener seed packs, one grandmaster sprinkler, one levelup lollipop, two mythical eggs, one bug egg, one jungle egg, or one exotic gardener seed pack |

Grow a Garden Seed Stages pets
The Seed Stages event introduced one new Grow a Garden egg called the jungle egg. You had a chance to obtain it when you submit tier III or higher evo crops to Samuel. Now that the event is over, you can get the jungle egg from the egg shop or from the season pass.
Here are the new pets available in the jungle egg:
| Pet | Rarity | Chance |
| Tree frog | Rare | 40% |
| Hummingbird | Rare | 30% |
| Iguana | Legendary | 24% |
| Chimpanzee | Mythical | 5% |
| Tiger | Divine | 1% |

What does the Grow a Garden tiger do?
As mentioned above, when you hatch a jungle egg, you have a 1% chance to get a tiger.
Here's the Grow a Garden tiger's ability:
- Every 12 minutes, the tiger roars and calls all pets in your garden towards it, sharing a total of 5,186 XP across each pet (max 800 XP per pet)
- Every 7:50 minutes, the tiger roars and replaces three random mutations from your garden with another mutation (ignores favorited fruit)
The tiger currently holds an S-rank in our Grow a Garden tier list, as its XP-share is valuable when you're leveling up your pets, and mutation abilities are always valuable.
However, it doesn't make it into the SS rank because its cap of 800 XP per pet is quite restrictive. Additionally, it can only apply mutations that are currently available in the game, and you have no control over which ones it takes away and what it replaces them with. This, of course, could lead to you losing some very valuable Grow a Garden mutations if you don't remember to favorite your crops.
That's everything we've got on the Grow a Garden Seed Stages event. While you're here, be sure to check out our list of all the new Grow a Garden codes, then head over to our massive Grow a Garden value list to find out which crops are worthy of a place in your garden.
