In this guide, we rank all of the pets and crops available in the game, so you know exactly which ones are worthy of a spot on your plot. But, before you rush off to sow your seeds, grab the new Grow a Garden codes for some free stuff.

Grow a Garden pet tier list
Below, we rank all the pets in the game, including ones you can't currently get. Each pet has a different buff or skill, such as increasing growth speed or finding more seeds, and comes in different rarities ranging from common to divine.
As the amount of pets you can place in your garden is limited, we recommend aiming for S- or SS-rank pets where possible. If you want to know more about each of the pets, including their abilities and how to get them, be sure to check out our full Grow a Garden pets guide.

How do we choose the ranks for our Grow a Garden tier list?
We rank the pets on our Grow a Garden tier list based on how useful their abilities are. Each pet has an ability, with some providing much more useful effects than others - and some even have abilities with multiple effects - and we put the pets with the most handy abilities at the top of our list, while pets with less useful skills rank much lower.
We rank the seeds on our Grow a Garden tier list by how many sheckles they're worth. To work this out, consider the cost of the seed and how much you get when you sell the crop. We also consider how long the plant takes to grow its fruits, whether the it's multi-harvest or not, and how many fruits you can get from each harvest.

How do I get more seeds in Grow a Garden?
The main way to get seeds is to purchase them from the seed shop. You can walk there manually, or tap the 'seeds' button at the top of the screen. The seed shop has limited stock which refreshes every five minutes, with rarer seeds having a lower chance to be in stock.
You can purchase most seeds with sheckles. However, some seeds are only available through the friendship shop and cost garden coins, which you get when you ascend your garden. Alternatively, you can buy seeds from both the seed and friendship shop using Robux, even if they're not in stock.
In addition to the seed shop, you can often get limited-time seeds by participating the various Grow a Garden events. These generally come around once every fortnight, so keep checking back so you don't miss any limited-time seeds.
Beyond that, you can also get seed packs by completing specific achievements in your garden guide, or through the crafting stall next to the gear shop.
How do I get more pets in Grow a Garden?
The main way to get pets in Grow a Garden is to hatch eggs. You can purchase eggs from the Egg Shop using either sheckles or Robux. However, the Egg Shop can only stock three eggs at a time, and refreshes once every 30 minutes. You can also get eggs and pets from events, either through rewards or event shops. For a full rundown of which eggs you can get and where, we have a Grow a Garden egg guide.
