Honkai Star Rail Mydei release date
Honkai Star Rail's Mydei released on March 19, 2025, in the version 3.1 update. He appeared after Honkai Star Rail's Tribbie, in the second half of the update's banner, alongside a rerun of Honkai Star Rail's Huohuo.
Who is Mydei?
Mydei is a five-star imaginary character who walks the path of Destruction. Characters who walk this path excel at dealing damage and surviving the toughest battles, which lines up with his title of Mydei The Undying.
Mydei, or Mydeimos, is one of the Chrysos Heirs and the crown prince of Kremnos. He and his people fled to Okhema after their patron Titan, Nikador, succumbed to madness. He's a fierce warrior and has an intense rivalry with his fellow Chrysos Heir, Phainon.
Mydei needs a high HP stat as he uses it in battle. He consumes his own HP to unleash devastating damage against enemies. Once he uses a certain percentage of his HP, he enters an enhanced state where he can deal extra damage in an AoE, hitting all enemies on the field. This does sacrifice some of his defense stat to add to his HP, so we recommend running a healer like Honkai Star Rail's Luocha alongside him.
The further Mydei's HP drops, the further he enhances his attacks. He can also resurrect himself if his HP drops to zero if he is in the Vendetta state, which he achieves by accumulating 100 points of Charge.
