The iPhone 16 line debuted yesterday with some stunning new colors, so it’s almost time to upgrade in style. This was just one of the many exciting innovations that Apple announced at the iPhone 16 launch event, alongside more details about Apple Intelligence and iOS 18.
If you’ve ever wanted a pink iPhone, now’s your chance. The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are available in Black, White, Ultramarine, Teal, and Pink, and yes, we do mean pink. In the past, Apple has offered a rose gold colorway for its smartphones, but we haven’t seen a magenta this bright since the days of the iPod Nano. Unsurprisingly, we absolutely love it. Due to the novelty of this new shade, we’re expecting it to be a popular option, so you should get your iPhone 16 pre-orders in fast.
As for the Pro and Pro Max range, Apple is continuing the trend of using titanium cases for its higher-end smartphones, but this doesn’t mean we’re stuck with the old colors. Alongside the traditional Black Titanium, White Titanium, and Natural Titanium, you can now grab an iPhone 16 Pro or Pro Max in Desert Titanium. Apple isn’t the only one to use this material on its premium devices, as we’ve seen from some of the best Samsung phones, but it is currently the only brand to offer Grade 5 titanium. That’s significantly stronger than what you might find on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Of course, these new colors aren’t all that Apple revealed at yesterday’s event. We got a much closer look at Apple Intelligence and its many uses, from writing emails to creating custom emojis. Apple also revealed the new Camera Control button, which opens up a range of useful photography features to make the most of the iPhone 16’s 2x telephoto zoom lens and the iPhone 16 Pro’s 4K video capabilities, while enabling access to Visual Intelligence, Apple’s answer to Google Lens, with just one click.
Thanks to the impressive new A18 chip and the iPhone Pro Max’s massive 6.9-inch display, it looks like Apple has just revealed the best gaming iPhone we’ve seen in a long time. While some of you might still be holding out for the iPhone SE 4, we can’t deny that the revamped flagship line has a lot going for it.
