Roll the windows down and zoom through the streets in the Monopoly Go City Racers event. Join up with three other players to earn as many points as you can, then compete with other teams to complete enough laps to win the grand prize. Find out all the available rewards below.

When is the Monopoly Go City Racers event?

The Monopoly Go City Racers event is on now and runs until August 5, 2024. The first 24 hours of the event is the time when you team up with others, then it’s on to the races.

What is the Monopoly Go City Racers event?

City Racers is a partner race event in Monopoly Go, where you must team up with other players and compete in three races across three days. There are different phases including the team-up phase, championship phase, and then the finals.

How do I play the Monopoly Go City Racers event?

Once you’re in a team, you then roll around the board as usual, collecting flag-shaped tokens. These then translate to points and unlock the rewards below. After that, it’s time to race against other teams across three days in the final phase.

To move your own car along, you need to throw event-specific dice in the popper to see how many spaces you can move at once. If you roll with an active multiplier, you will move more each time. The first team to complete ten laps wins!

Monopoly Go City Racers rewards

Here are the first set of rewards that you can earn during the championship part of the event, by collecting flags.

1st 2.7k dice, one wild sticker, and a Speedy Scottie token
2nd 1k dice and a sticker pack
3rd 500 dice and a sticker pack
4th 175 dice

Each race you complete gives you medals. The player in first place gets ten, second place gets eight, third place gets six, and fourth place gets four.

Here’s the grand prize you get if you earn the most medals on your team:

  • A Tycoon Racer token, a wild sticker, and 3.5k dice
