Not one, but two games drop silently onto Nintendo Switch 2 today as the Indie World rolls out and surprises us all.

Good news, indie fans - Nintendo's Indie World presentation on March 3 confirmed a shadow drop of a truly great game on Nintendo Switch 2, and I'm not just saying that because I share a name with the in-game location.

Blue Prince, one of 2025's stand-out releases, comes to Switch 2 today. No waiting, no killing time, it's here, and we're going to jump in to play it as soon as we're done writing up this news.

The iconic puzzle game comes from Dogubomb and Raw Fury, and sees you head to Mt Holly (great name), a huge manor with rooms that move every day. Think House of Leaves, Piranesi, House With 100 Doors vibes - except you can figure out where to go using clues and choices.

Another shadow drop comes in the form of a brand new game from the Don't Starve developer, Klei Entertainment. My first thought was a Switch 2 version of the classic survival sim, but no - Rotwood, a brand new title focused on combat builds with side-scrolling action, arrives as a console exclusive today. Right now. That's right - go and buy it and enjoy more of the studio's excellent and recognizable art style.

The 20-minute Indie World presentation is well worth a watch, as there's something for everyone this time around, regardless of whether you like head-scratching puzzles or not.
