Order up in Overcooked’s World Food Festival on Nintendo Switch

The premier kitchen simulator on Nintendo Switch has just seen a massive new content update, with the World Food Festival arriving in Overcooked

It’s time to put your chef’s hat on, tighten your apron, and head back to the tasty Onion Kingdom for Overcooked’s World Food Festival on Nintendo Switch. This free content update adds more than a touch of flavour to Ghost Town Games’ cooking sim, with plenty of mouth-watering new content for you to get your teeth into.

As part of the Overcooked World Food Festival, you can now employ the delivery mechanic to get your food over to far-flung destinations in a flash, adding yet another element of chaos to the kitchen when you’re already busy preparing food for your patrons. Of course, you don’t have to try your hand at delivery, but it’s an interesting option for those who have mastered the hustle and bustle of in-house hospitality.

To mark the international nature of the World Food Festival, new global dishes will find their way into your recipe books ready to be mixed, cooked, and blended before being served up to customers. It’s not much fun making a fresh dish in a dingy old kitchen, so there are a bunch of never before seen cooking environments for you to do your best Gordon Ramsay impression on (just take it easy on your friends, even if the chicken does look a little raw).

If we didn’t mention it earlier, the best bit about this whole update is that it’s entirely free, and all you need is a copy of the original Overcooked title to jump into the fun. As you can see in the trailer below, this new update is also available to download right now, so you don’t even have to wait around like you would to get into a fine dining establishment. This one is open for business.
