Niantic and Nintendo’s Pikmin Go enters testing in Singapore

Earlier this month, Nintendo and Niantic revealed a brand new Pikmin mobile game as well as a partnership that will see the pair release a series of apps together. The new app does not have a confirmed name as of yet, but we’re affectionately calling the title Pikmin Go. Now, Niantic’s Twitter account has shared that the game has entered testing in Singapore.

The Pikmin app will work in a similar way to Pokémon Go, with gameplay and activities that are designed to encourage walking and making going outside more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we don’t know too much else about the game right now, but keep this page bookmarked as we will update it with any important information as soon as we have it.

Pikmin Go is set to launch towards the end of 2021, and if you want to be notified by email about any updates on the new title, you can pre-register by visiting the official Niantic website.
