Fans have been waiting patiently, and now the legendary Pokémon from generation four, Darkrai and Arceus, are both finally making their way to Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl. With thanks to Serebii for the information, Arceus is available with the latest 1.3 update which releases on March 16, providing that users have save data from Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
To capture Arceus, you must head to your bedroom in Twinleaf Town and receive the Azure Flute, this unlocks the special event that leads to the legendary god Pokémon. You must also complete all of the main story missions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus before you are able to unlock the Azure Flute. Next up is the Darkrai event, which becomes available from April 1 through April 30, when you can acquire the Member’s Club Card through Mystery Gift.
This latest update brings BDSP closer to what fans have been asking for, though we’re still waiting on features like Pokémon Home to be implemented.
