To promote the upcoming remakes of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo announced a special commemorative Nintendo Switch Lite during an August 18 Pokémon Presents. The new Switch Lite launches later this year on November 5.
It features a matte black finish, as well as a gorgeous metallic gold and silver pattern on the back that details the box legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia. This is an homage to the special Onyx Nintendo DS Lite that similarly commemorated the original Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl reimagine the DS originals with a chibi art style and greatly improved graphics. The games also bring back fan-favourite features like customising Pokeballs and The Underground, while adding interesting new elements like character customisation.
You can pre-order the device now from Amazon, and get your console ready ahead of the release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl later this year on November 19.
