It’s time for a popular Pokémon Go event to make a triumphant return as Niantic reintroduces Psychic Spectacular to the mobile augmented reality title. Naturally, this is a celebration of psychic ‘mon primarily, but more than that, it marks the debut of who just might be the most powerful psychic Pokémon you can get your hands on.
As part of the Pokémon Go Psychic Spectacular event, you can get your hands on Pokémon Go’s Mega Alakazam as it makes its debut in the game via mega raids. Who knows, if you’re really lucky, you might even find a shiny one. It’s also worth noting that the mythical Pokémon Deoxys is also to appear in raids throughout the event.
When it comes to other Pokémon, you can expect to frequently encounter Abra, Slowpoke, Drowzee, Natu, Ralts, Spoink, Munna, Woobat, Gothita, Solosis, and Elgyem. If you get lucky, there’s also a chance you can spot Kadabra and Kirila in the wild. Should you manage to get a Kadabra, you can get an exclusive attack for Alakazam if you evolve it during the event.
When is Pokémon Go Psychic Spectacular?
The Pokémon Go Psychic Spectacular event runs from September 6 until September 12.
