Pokémon TCG Pocket Twitch Drops arrive to celebrate its first anniversary, but they won't be around forever

It may not have even occurred to you that Pokémon TCG Pocket might be fun to watch on Twitch, but new drops for the game’s anniversary might tempt you.

For Pokémon TCG Pocket's first anniversary, the game continues spoiling us with goodies such as the new Mega Rising pack, promo card drops, log-in rewards, and more. The fun is going multi-platform, with Pokémon TCG Pocket Twitch Drops dealing out fresh rewards - but you'll have to be smart about it, because you don't have forever to claim them. Now is the time to invest in a whole new world of streaming that you may not have watched before.

Until November 26, 2025, you can earn a 12-pack of Hourglasses and a 12-pack of Wonder Pick Hourglasses. If you're like me and have been spam-opening Mega Rising packs, this deal is super worth it. As a reminder, the pack introduces Mega Evolutions, including Mega Gyarados, Mega Altaria, and Mega Blaziken, and TCG Pocket wants you to get lucky and pull your faves from the selection. What better way to do it than watching someone on Twitch get extreme streamer luck?

For the uninitiated, it's common knowledge that going live on Twitch seems to be guaranteed to get you something good. To claim the gifts, make sure you're signed into Twitch and head to 'drops and rewards'. Then, press 'all campaigns', and head to Pokémon TCG Pocket. You have to watch a streamer who has drops enabled, so make sure to press the link with all the participating streamers, or if you're searching in the category, look for the all-important 'Drops Enabled' tag.

Watch one stream or switch between them for a total watch time of twenty minutes, and you'll earn your prize. Redeeming it is a slightly different matter, though. You'll need to head to this page to cash in on your prize. Log in to your Pokémon Trainer Club account, then your Twitch account, and then you should find your drops in your inventory. This is pretty long-winded, and some players are unimpressed with the lengths to which they have to go to get their prizes.

Not sure who to watch? I recommend Pokémon TCG Pocket streamer, RavenHS, who entertains his viewers with his in-depth deck guides, tournament anecdotes, and commentary on the scene. That's just one example of a streamer you can watch to unlock the Hourglasses, providing you can catch him during a stream, but there are plenty more! Ultimately, it doesn't matter who you choose for the drops, but hey, maybe you'll support a small creator's livelihood by dropping them a follow.

That's all the intel on Pokémon TCG Pocket Twitch drops, but if you want some more goodies, grab some Pokémon TCG Pocket codes, and read all about the Pokémon TCG Pocket first anniversary event, which will be in-person.
