Beedrill | Pokémon guide

The Pokémon Beedrill is a mainstay in many teams - so here’s how to find it, evolve it, and which levels it can learn.

Okay, sure, it's more of a wasp than a bee - but we still use the Pokémon Beedrill to this day. In fact, the alpha you can catch in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is very handy for hitting bug-type weaknesses. It's a third-stage evolution, but super easy to get with the amount of Weedles wandering around.

Regardless of how you feel about the bee-turned-wasp, you need to catch it to fill your Pokédex. To help you do that, you can use the new Pokémon Go codes and Pokémon ZA mystery gift codes for some extra balls.

Here's everything in our Beedrill guide:

Here's the key information you need to know about Beedrill:

National Pokédex # 0,015
Type Bug / Poison
Abilities Swarm, Adaptability (Mega)
Hidden ability Sniper
Gender ratio Male - 50%
Female - 50%
Catch rate 45
Egg groups Bug

Pokemon's Weedle to Kakuna to Beedrill evolution

Beedrill's evolution

Beedrill evolves from Kakuna starting at level ten. Kakuna evolves from Weedle at level seven. This evolution line is really easy to complete at any stage of the game, so we recommend grabbing a Weedle as soon as you can.

To mega evolve Beedrill, you need a Beedrillite stone. Here's where and how you can get one in all the games it features in:

Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire Find in a storage room in Sea Mauville
Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon Challenge the Battle Tree
Let's Go Pikachu / Let's Go Eevee Find in the Indigo Plateau
Legends: Z-A Defeat Rogue Mega Beedrill
