Based on the massively successful PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, PUBG MOBILE has become one of the world’s most popular mobile games, and it’s easy to see why. After diving down to a remote island, you find yourself scavenging for weapons, vehicles, and supplies as you duke it out with up to 100 players in a single map, making for a challenging and exciting experience – all in your pocket. Well, PUBG MOBILE is using its huge name for good, as it launches the 2021 Team Up Challenge across the globe, including North America.
PUBG MOBILE is proudly continuing its partnership with Global Green, the world-renowned non-profit organisation that aims to foster a global value shift towards a sustainable and secure future. A familiar face is taking the role of campaign ambassador for the North American region of the 2021 Team Up Challenge – international box office star and six-time Grammy-nominated recording artist, Tyrese Gibson. Tyrese, along with nine other international celebrities and 74 influencers, is working with PUBG MOBILE to harness the power of gaming for good, aiming to inspire the community to become stewards of our beautiful planet.
PUBG MOBILE has already committed a $50,000 donation to Global Green to help advance smart solutions to climate change that improve lives and protect earth, and that’s only the beginning. With a fierce passion to make a huge difference in not only the gaming world, but the real world too, the 2021 Team Up Challenge is more than a fun event – it’s an exciting investment in our environment.
What is the Team Up Challenge?
The Team Up Challenge is a huge annual PUBG MOBILE event. Running since 2019, the Team Up Challenge aims to combine the biggest names in global entertainment and mobile gaming, creating a series of fun and exciting tournaments. Six different world regions will be represented in the challenge, with a select group of international celebrities and over 70 influencers taking part. Each celebrity-backed team will take part in multiple matches to determine the champion, and the event will feature a number of prizes for both participants and viewers to snag, along with some major news about an upcoming PUBG MOBILE partnership.

When does the event start?
The 2021 Team Up Challenge event is kicking off with regional matches running from August 20 to August 28, 2021, with the finals taking place on August 29.
