What are Hollowed weapons?
Weapons are naturally a very important part of your Hollowed journey and can be a direct indicator of your progression in the game. But if you’re wondering where exactly you can get the best weapons, and how much they’re going to cost you, then look no further because we have all the information you need.
Base weapons
Base weapons do what they say on the tin. These weapons are the standard, and most classes and levels can wield them with no problems. You can work towards upgrading your weapons, and getting hold of them is fairly simple as you just need to have the right amount of Runics, the game’s currency, to make a purchase.
Most of the base weapons are made of either bronze or iron, and when you’re just starting out, the bronze variants are your best bet since they’re fairly cheap. However, you can work to upgrade them to iron by unlocking advanced weapons.
Here are the prices and locations of each base weapon:
Weapon | Cost | Location |
Dagger | 15 Runic (40 Runic to upgrade to iron) | Sandtown, Bridgeway City, or Treeway Village |
Sword | 30 Runic (160 Runic to upgrade to iron) | Sandtown, Bridgeway City, or Treeway Village |
Axe | 100 Runic (160 Runic to upgrade to iron) | Bridgeway City |
You can also get a wooden staff for 90 Runic in Whispering Dust, but you need to have unlocked the staff wield passive ability to carry it. Or, you can get Caestus, which sets you back 100 Runic if purchased in Treeway Village or Sandborn, and a slightly more expensive 175 Runic if you buy it in Prosperitate Kingdom.
Advanced weapons
You need to have certain abilities unlocked to successfully wield these advanced weapons, so you likely won’t be able to get your hands on them if you’re just starting out. But once you’ve increased your funds and upgraded your character, you can start cutting some serious shapes.
Here are the prices, requirements, and locations for each advanced weapon:
Weapon | Price | Location | Requirement |
Greatsword | 300 Runic | Prosperitate Kingdom | Unlock greatsword wielding passive ability |
Claws | Given by Operator Trainer NPC | Snowy Landscape, Prosperitate Kingdom | Must be an Operator (Dark Blood claws advanced class) |
Scythe | 150 Runic or 250 Runic | Forgotten Woods or Prosperitate Kingdom | Unlock scythe wielding passive ability |
Spear | 160 Runic or 200 Runic | Sandborn District or Prosperitate Kingdom | Unlock spear wielding passive ability |
What are the Hollowed races?
Hollowed races determine what sort of abilities and weapons you’re able to use in your adventure through Project Libra, so choosing the right one for your playstyle is important. Some are slightly more difficult to come by, but we’ve explained everything you need to know in the table below. All races can be rolled for, leaving you to the mercy of the RNG gods, aside from the one unlockable race, Eclipse. But we’ve included it in the list to keep everything in one place for you.
Here are all the Hollowed races:

Refur | 16% | Unlocks Hunter Mode, speed is increased when HP is below 30%, gain a defense boost when cold, ESP range is increased when Hunter Instinct is activated and Feed Drain reduced | Grey or orange ears, hair, and skin |

Onija | 12% | Scream to boost your stats, your dash is the same as the base Swordsman class, and melee combat with fists deals 1.10% extra damage | None |

What are Hollowed classes?
There are a few different classes to choose from in Hollowed, each with their own perks and passive abilities. But you need to head to different places in order to pick them out, so we can explain where to find each one.
Here are the Hollowed classes:
Class | Location | Requirements |
Ravager | Speak to Bruno in Prosperitate Kingdom – he’s got orange hair and can be found standing next to a dummy wearing armor | This class relies heavily on melee combat, so you need a sufficient amount of Axe EXP to unlock it |
Swordsman | Look for Sedour at the Unresting Savanna, close to the rundown church | This class acts as the Swordsman base class, so you need enough Sword EXP to unlock it |
Elementarist | Unlock the Whispering Dust waypoint and solve the climbing puzzle at the waypoint crystal, once you’re at the top, walk through a wall into the secret building where you’ll find Dani | The Elementarist class requires Staff EXP to unlock, as well as books. Simply hand Dani a book and you’ll be granted the power to read any magic book. You’ll also get a new staff for your troubles. |
Severance | Find a set of steps leading up to the Unresting Savanna in the Sandborn District. You can locate Galan inside an abandoned building close by. | Severance is the standard melee class, so you’ll need plenty of Dagger EXP to unlock it. |
