There has been no shortage of leaks and rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, but the latest takes things into three dimensions. New photos and videos of aluminum dummy models give us our best look yet at the dimensions and design details of the whole Android lineup.
It's the design of the Ultra that's sure to cause the biggest stir. For years, Samsung's fanciest handset has featured iconic sharp corners, giving it a distinct look that stands out from most of the other flagship phones. With the 2025 model adopting a curvier design, it'll certainly be more comfortable to hold, but it also loses some of its signature boxy charm. Still, the S24 Ultra made it to our list of the best gaming phones on specs alone, so a nicer form factor might help it stand out even more for mobile gamers who spend more time holding their phones horizontally rather than vertically.
The styling, button, and camera placement remain very similar on the S25 and S25+, but they'll both be slimmer than the previous models. The base model S25 is reportedly just 7.25mm thick, down from 7.6mm. Meanwhile, the S25+ will measure 7.35mm thick, down from 7.7mm. The top-of-the-line S25 Ultra will be slightly slimmer, too, but it's still noticeably chunkier than its siblings. It'll measure 8.25mm thick, compared to the S24 Ultra's 8.6mm chassis. Of course, the Ultra is still expected to house an S Pen, and it can only get so slim while keeping enough room to stow the stylus.
The news comes after the Lithuanian site Mokesciu Skaiciuokle (via Android Headlines) posted close-up imagery and dimension details for these models. Elsewhere, rumors say we might see a mixture of Qualcomm and MediaTek flagship chips in these phones, and minimal upgrades to the camera system. It sounds like the Korean giant is leaning on its software expertise to make these handsets appealing, rather than going all-in on hardware changes.

Either way, we're expecting more Galaxy S25 rumors as we build up to the anticipated January 2025 launch, provided Samsung doesn't break from tradition by releasing the new devices later in the year.
