Western Digital has announced a new Pokémon Switch microSD card range in partnership with The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo. These adorable little cards let you expand your game library in a cute and collectible way, much like the Pokémon themselves.
The brand modeled the three SanDisk microSD cards after a trio of gen 1 Pokémon of increasing sizes to match the growing storage capacity of the cards. The electric Pokémon Pikachu adorns the yellow 256GB card, the ghostly Gengar haunts the 512GB edition, and everyone’s favorite roadblock Snorlax is snoozing on the 1TB card while watching over your massive library of games.
These SanDisk microSD cards are specifically built for the Nintendo Switch, allowing for uninterrupted gameplay thanks to their custom Flash Management Techniques and up to 90MB/s read speeds.
