You can actually form a bond so strong you can live together, and considering he lives in the Sewers, that might be a bit of an upgrade for him.

Can you marry Stardew Valley’s Krobus?
No, you can’t marry Krobus, which makes sense, considering he’s a monster. However, not all hope is lost. You can form a tight bond with him, becoming such good friends that maybe you want to give being roommates a go. If you want to give marriage a shot, you need to get to know people such as Stardew Valley’s Emily and Stardew Valley’s Harvey, though there are plenty more singletons if they’re not the ones for you.
How do I make Krobus my roommate?
If you’re not married, you can shack up with Krobus by making him your roommate – a human and monster being roommates sounds like the basis of a TV show – but it does still require you to give away an item. Instead of a mermaid pendant, you need to offer Krobus a void ghost pendant, and as he also adds his own room, like a spouse, you need to upgrade your farmhouse so he can move in. While a lot of your relationship is similar to that of a marriage, you can’t expect him to do chores, give you a kiss, or have children.
However, there are perks you get that a spouse doesn’t offer. For instance, Krobus doesn’t get jealous when you give out gifts, whereas your husband or wife most certainly kicks up a stink about it. If you do make Krobus your roommate, a chest will replace him in the sewers. If you want to send him back to where he came from, you don’t have to spend any money, this isn’t a divorce, though you do still need to pay the mayor a visit. However, this does effectively ruin your friendship, so make sure you wipe his memory at the Dark Shrine of Memory if you want to start over.
