Stardew Valley Leo guide

Stardew Valley’s Leo is an interesting kid and he deserves some kindness, so let’s look at his favorite gifts, movies, and heart events.

Stardew Valley’s Leo is a little lad who hasn’t had an easy go of things, being an orphan who lives on Ginger Island. Yes, an orphan, his mum and dad were lost at sea. As heartbreaking as that is, we can all take solace in knowing he’s basically Dr Dolittle, calling the parrots on the island his family. Through your friendship, he can even become friends with other kids in Pelican Town.

Such potential pals include Stardew Valley’s Vincent and Stardew Valley’s Jas, who are more than happy to have another kid to play with. Plus, in Pelican Town, there’s a whole host of Stardew Valley characters that can look out for him, not that living with a bunch of birds sounds like a bad thing.

Here’s everything you need to know about Stardew Valley’s Leo:

Leo loves mango and anything mango-adjacent. That fruit is the way to this boy’s heart, so make sure you give him some to speed up your friendship with him. To be honest, there’s a huge list of things Leo either loves or likes. Just make sure you avoid giving him anything with alcohol in it – the lad, quite rightly, hates it.

What are Stardew Valley Leo’s heart events?

Leo’s heart events are among the sweetest in Stardew Valley. You get to go on a journey with him, watching the orphan find his way again with his family of parrots. Eventually, he gets to be a real kid again, moving to Pelican Town and befriending the other children. You should give yourself a pat on the back for helping him and maybe thank Stardew Valley’s Linus for encouraging him to move into town.

Event How to Trigger
Two hearts Go to Island West on a sunny day between 6am and 6pm. Leo approaches you when you stand by the shore. Regardless of what response you give him, it doesn’t affect your friendship, nor does the response you give to his follow-up question
Three hearts Leo sends you the Poi recipe in the mail
Four hearts You need to go to Island North between 6am and 6pm on a sunny day. A cutscene plays in which Leo asks if you find him weird after catching him speaking ‘parrot’, he then asks if you think he could ever be a normal kid. Regardless of your responses, it doesn’t affect your friendship with Leo.
Six hearts Enter Island South between 6am and 6pm. Willy and Linus suggest that Leo move to Pelican, turning to you for your opinion, though whatever you choose doesn’t affect any friendship. Ultimately, Leo decides it’s time to move to the mainland, and his family of parrots builds him a treehouse to live in
Seven hearts Leo sends you the recipe for mango sticky rice
Nine hearts Enter the Mountain between 6am and 7pm on a non-rainy day to see Leo cooking with Linus, then you see a scene with him at the museum with Penny, Stardew Valley’s Vincent, and Stardew Valley’s Jas, followed by a scene of Leo fishing with Willy and then him watching Jas from the bushes in the playground. Finally, you see him go home and talk to his family of parrots about how nice his day was. It’s fair to say that Leo is adjusting well to life in Pelican Town, making plenty of friends and forming memories.

What are Leo’s favorite movies and concessions?

Leo is the best person to go to the movies with in Pelican Town; he at least likes all of the movies and enjoys every snack, making it impossible for him not to have a good time.
