Leo can be in one of two places, depending on how high your friendship is with him.
Before six hearts of friendship, Leo will always be on Ginger Island. In the morning, he leaves his hut to wander the island, and then returns around 5 pm.
When you have six or more hearts of friendship, Leo moves to Pelican Town. He mostly stays around his hut, or in the mountain area, but heads to the museum on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Mondays and Sundays, he returns to Ginger Island.
