When Mr. Krabs was asked about why he opened the Krusty Krab 2 in SpongeBob SquarePants, he said one thing: money. This life lesson is just as valuable here as this The Forge money guide is your one-stop shop for raking in the dough. Aside from becoming an excellent miner and blacksmith, you can't go far without a big wad of cash.

But don't worry, there are a few ways to get rich. Because The Forge is all about grinding ores and crafting incredible weapons, it really is down to how much time you put into the game. With a few different methods, we'll make that grind a little less taxing.

Here's everything you need to know about money in The Forge:

What is money in The Forge?

Money is the main currency in The Forge. Like other Roblox games, getting cash is essential for buying key items, buffs, or even unique armor sets and weapons. However, as you're a blacksmith and miner in The Forge, you're looking to maximize the value of the weapons you create. After all, that's where the big bucks can come from.

Aside from Robux, which can be used to purchase a few select items, money is the only form of in-game currency in The Forge. So don't worry, you aren't juggling multiple credits or tokens to get where you need to be.

How to make money fast in The Forge

Now you know what money is and how it works in The Forge, it's time to lay down the best methods to get it. Below are our recommendations to get more money, but feel free to experiment and find what works for you.

Complete quests

It may sound obvious, but finishing off quests is a sure-fire way to make money. We know it can get overwhelming when you have multiple missions to complete, but trust us, it's worth it. We reckon that focusing on Sensei Moro's The Forge quests is important, as this eventually gives you the Portal Tool. This item lets you teleport between the two regions of The Forge map, making it easier to navigate the game's large world.

You should also seek our NPCs such as Malik, Isaac, Amber, or Masked Strange. Most players overlook what they have to offer, but the truth is that these characters can reward you with some hefty XP if you take on their objectives.

Defeat enemies for essence

Fighting foes isn't easy at first, as you need decent gear to stand a chance of winning. However, as you progress, defeating enemies in The Forge isn't too tough. Enemies grant essence when they die, which you can sell for money. The best part is that there's no limit on stacking essence in your inventory. That's right, you can hoard it to your heart's content.

Slaying different enemies also grants you a bit of cash, too. We recommend heading to the Volcanic Depths, as this is easily one of the best farming spots for enemies in the game. If you're wondering how much money you can make doing this, here's a quick rundown:

  • Blazing Slime - minimum of $65 up to $130
  • Elite Rogue Skeleton -  minimum of $35 up to $70
  • Elite Deathaxe Skeleton - minimum of $45 up to $90
  • Reaper - minimum of $65 up to $130

Sell your pickaxe

Eventually, you'll outgrow your pickaxe, and that's okay. When it's time to upgrade, you might be tempted to keep your former pickaxe for a rainy day. If you're adamant you won't need any more, it's highly profitable to sell it. At the very least, make sure you have a weaker pickaxe in your inventory, as the game doesn't let you sell pickaxes without at least one in your stash.

Pickaxes aren't cheap either, so if you're working toward a higher-level one, this is a good way to keep the money flowing.

Sell heavy weapons and armor

Because you're a blacksmith at heart in The Forge, you should focus on crafting heavy weapons and armor. Not only are they great in combat, but they can fetch a pretty penny. Breaking down Basalt Rocks is the way to go here, as you'll get the ores you need to make heavy sets in no time. Focus on the Battle Axes or Colossal tiers, as it isn't worth your time on anything less.

Redeem codes

If you aren't already doing this, then you should be. The Forge codes give you rewards such as rerolls, but there's also a chance to get money when the game's developer is feeling generous.
