Hm? What's that strange-looking The Forge ore? You dig up a ton of different types - mostly stone - so you may not recognize them all. Our guide explains where you can find each ore, the chances of it dropping, and how much you can sell it for if you're in it for the money.

Which ore has traits in The Forge?
Some ore you can find in later areas of the game provides a buff, thanks to a trait it can have. Here are the ores that give you a little boost when using them in forging:
- Darkryte - Grants a 15% chance to dodge incoming damage
- Demonite - 25% chance to burn enemies when taking damage
- Eye ore - Lose 10% HP, and gain 15% damage on weapons and armor
- Fireite - Grants a 20% chance to burn with weapons
- Lightite - Grants 15% extra movement speed on armor
- Magmaite - 35% chance to deal an AoE explosion on hit
- Mythril - Grants an extra 15% defense on armor
- Obsidian - Grants an extra 30% defense on armor
- Poopite - Deals 15% poison damage for five seconds when HP is below 35%
- Rivalite - Grants a 20% critical strike chance increase
- Uranium - Deals AoE damage equal to 5% of your max HP
How do I get more ore in The Forge?
If you're running low on ore, it's easy to get more. Simply head into your local cave, equip your pickaxe, and get mining. Hit any of the rocks within the cave, and you'll get stone or more impressive ore depending on their drop chance.
You can sell extra ore you don't want to an NPC just in front of the cave, to lighten up your pockets and offload that stack of rocks.
