Rovers met Wuthering Waves Camellya in the first few chapters of Kuro’s game, but now she’s a playable character, with an expansion on her own story. She’s a Bloom Bearer with the Black Shores, and is a formidable DPS. She uses the havoc element and a sword. Here’s everything you need to know about her build, and how she works in combat as a member of our teams.
We’ve got all the new Wuthering Waves codes here to get you some free astrite, and then you can use our Wuthering Waves tier list to see which characters you should prioritize.
Here’s everything in our Wuthering Waves Camellya build guide:
What’s the best Wuthering Waves Camellya build?
Camellya is a five-star resonator that uses a sword and the havoc element.
Element | Havoc |
Rarity | Five-star |
Role | DPS |
Weapon | Sword |
Best weapon | Red Spring |
Best echo set | Sun-sinking eclipse |
Best echo | Crownless or Dreamless |
Main stats | Crit rate, crit damage, attack |
We met Camellya in the story, and her slightly unhinged nature carries over to her playstyle. Her kit has a lot going on, and all of it deals a lot of havoc damage to enemies around her. She focuses on basic attack damage that hits targets in an AoE, and doesn’t rely on her resonance liberation.
Camellya’s best weapon is her signature sword, Red Spring, and we recommend a full set of sun-sinking eclipse echoes. As for stats, you want to bump up her crit rate and damage, along with her attack as some of her moves have bonuses that scale off it. Basic attack damage boosting sub-stats are also key.
What’s the best weapon for Camellya?
Camellya’s best weapon is her five-star signature sword, Red Spring. This adds plenty of damage bonuses to her as she’s in combat. We understand that it can be very hard to get a character and their signature weapon, though, and thankfully there are plenty of good options that won’t break the bank.
If you get the Emerald of Genesis sword off the standard weapon banner, this can work very well on Camellya. If not, there are four-star options from the battle pass and regular gacha pool that provide good boosts for her, especially at higher synotization levels.
Red Spring | Stat: Crit rate Skill: Increases Camellya’s attack. When dealing basic attack damage, she gains a 20% basic attack damage bonus for 14 seconds. This can trigger once a second and stack three times. When she consumes all her concerto energy, she gains a further basic attack damage bonus for ten seconds. This can trigger once per second and ends when she switches off the field |
Limited weapon banner |
Emerald of Genesis | Stat: Crit rate Skill: Increases Camellya’s energy regeneration. When she uses her resonance liberation, her attack increases. This can stack two times and lasts ten seconds |
Standard weapon banner |
Lumingloss | Stat: Attack Skill: When using her resonance skill, Camellya’s basic and heavy attack damage increases. This lasts for ten seconds and can trigger once every second |
Battle Pass reward |
Lunar Cutter | Stat: Attack Skill: Camellya gains six stacks of Oath when entering the field. Each stack increases her attack and can trigger once every 12 seconds. Oath reduces by one stack every two seconds. She gains an additional six stacks when defeating an enemy |
Gacha |
Commando of Conviction | Stat: Attack Skill: When using her intro skill, Camellya’s attack increases for 15 seconds |
Gacha |
What’s the best Camellya team comp?
Camellya is your main DPS in any team. Therefore, her best teammates are healers, supports, and buffers. Her best teammate overall is Sanhua thanks to the buff she provides with her outro skill, specifically for basic attack damage. Verina and the Shorekeeper both have their strengths as healers, and both provide some buffs, so you can safely use either of them.
If you don’t have Sanhua – or don’t wish to use her – you could use Mortefi or Danjin instead for their respective buffs, or even Zhezhi to provide some extra damage of a different element.
What are the best echoes for Camellya?
Here are the echo sets we recommend for Camellya:
- Five-piece set: Sun-sinking eclipse
- Two-piece sets: Sun-sinking eclipse, lingering tunes
The best echo set for Camellya is a full five-piece set of sun-sinking eclipse, as this gives her a huge havoc damage bonus, especially after using a basic or heavy attack. Aim for a Crownless or Dreamless as your main echo to deal even more havoc damage when deployed.
Crownless | Deal havoc damage as the Crownless. This increases Camellya’s havoc and resonance skill damage by 12% for 15 seconds |
Dreamless | Deal havoc damage to enemies during six attacks. The last attack deals heavier damage |
Stat recommendations
