Here's everything you need to know about Wuthering Waves Cartethyia:
Wuthering Waves Cartethyia release date
Wuthering Waves Cartethyia released in version 2.4 on June 12.
Her banner went live along with her signature weapon, Defier's Thorn, a five-star sword. This is her best option for her build, along with a five-piece set of Windward Pilgrimage echoes, with the Fleurdelys echo in the main slot.
Who is Cartethyia?
Cartethyia - yes, yet another Wuthering Waves character whose name begins with C - is a five-star resonator. She's a DPS that uses the aero element and a sword, and can use two forms in battle. She works incredibly well with Wuthering Waves Ciaccona as a teammate, along with the aero Rover, Changli, and Sanhua.
Cartethyia's drip marketing and artwork showed her Fleurdelys form as well as her smaller, interactable form as she appears in the story quests - this is because she can deploy a second form during combat.
Her first appearance is within the Rinascita story, where the Rover accompanies her on a journey to find her lost memories. Similar to Wuthering Waves' Jinhsi, she's connected to the Sentinel of Rinascita - the Dark Tide. You also find out she's known as either the 'Martyred' or 'Blessed' Maiden, and by the name Fleurdelys, which turns out to be a boss you have to fight.
Who are Cartethyia's voice actors?
Cartethyia's voice actor in English is Amanda Rischel, known for work in Diablo IV and Strinova. In Japanese, she's played by Asakawa Yū. Her other actors are currently unconfirmed.
