Wuthering Waves Cartethyia release date speculation

Wuthering Waves has a similar pattern of drip marketing and then releasing characters to Hoyoverse games. With this in mind, it appears that Cartethyia will likely be released in version 2.4. But, of course, we need to wait for solid confirmation of this during the version's livestream ahead of the version 2.4 Wuthering Waves update.

Who is Cartethyia?

Cartethyia – yes, yet another Wuthering Waves character whose name begins with C – is a five-star resonator. Right now, other details about her playable kit are unconfirmed, so we can't say which weapon or element she uses.

Her first appearance is within the Rinascita story, where the Rover accompanies her on a journey to find her lost memories. Similar to Wuthering Waves' Jinhsi, she's connected to the Sentinel of Rinascita – the Dark Tide. You also find out she's known as either the 'Martyred' or 'Blessed' Maiden, and by the name Fleurdelys, which turns out to be a boss you have to fight.

Interestingly, Cartethyia's drip marketing also shows her Fleurdelys form as well as her smaller, interactable form as she appears in the story quests. This may mean that her playable version can swap between the two or deploy a second form. However, we may need to wait a while to find out, as, according to leaks, Cartethyia won't be available in the upcoming Wuthering Waves beta.

Who are Cartethyia's voice actors?

Cartethyia's voice actor in English is Amanda Rischel, known for work in Diablo IV and Strinova. In Japanese, she's played by Asakawa Yū. Her other actors are currently unconfirmed.
