In the gaming phone scene, you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone doing things like REDMAGIC. The Chinese tech giant continues to focus on providing premium handsets geared for grinding demanding titles on the go, whether you're a Rainbow Six Mobile grinder or a Wuthering Waves fan. Speaking of the gacha game, we took some time at MWC 2026 to see what this Kuro Games and REDMAGIC Pro 11 collaboration is all about.
At first glance, it's one of the more striking devices in REDMAGIC's roster. The company calls this variant 'Energy Red', and we think that's rather apt. It actually reminds us of some of the brand's earlier and edgier models, and that's not a bad thing. While the standard gray version looks top-notch in our REDMAGIC 11 Pro review, it's great to see the company embracing bolder colorways and patterns on the rear of the handset. It isn't quite on the level of something like the new Nothing Phone (4a) models, but it's a move in a fascinating direction.
Because this is a collaborative effort with Wuthering Waves, you won't find any hardware changes. For all intents and purposes, this is still the piece of kit you'll receive when ordering a regular 11 Pro. There's a lot to like, though, as REDMAGIC isn't backing off its mission to target gamers specifically.

In his 9/10 review, hardware editor Connor Christie says that the REDMAGIC 11 Pro is "an absolute powerhouse of a gaming phone, offering a level of performance that would have seemed unimaginable only a few years ago."
It may have some caveats, particularly with its selfie camera, but that's a small blemish on an otherwise astounding phone. Unfortunately, it looks like this 11 Pro model is exclusive to China for the foreseeable future, which is already prompting Wuthering Waves players on Reddit to make petitions, urging REDMAGIC to release its flagship Android phone in other regions.

Getting your hands on REDMAGIC products remains one of the sticking points you need to consider. You'll find huge recommendations in our REDMAGIC 11 Air review or REDMAGIC Astra review, but securing them in your territory isn't exactly easy. You can buy the latter phone and tablet on the company's website in the United Kingdom, but you'll need to check your area to see if it's available. With any luck, the Wuthering Waves REDMAGIC 11 Pro will get a wider rollout, given how fervent its fanbase is.
