Wuthering Waves Shorekeeper build overview
Wuthering Waves Shorekeeper is a five-star healer resonator that uses the spectro element and a rectifier weapon.
Element | Spectro |
Rarity | Five-star |
Role | Healer |
Best weapon | Stellar Symphony |
Best echo set | Rejuvenating glow |
Best echo | Fallacy of No Return |
Main stats | Healing bonus, HP, energy regen |
Shorekeeper is here to give Verina a break, as she’s another five-star healer – that also uses the spectro element, coincidentally. She can heal, prevent your characters from getting knocked down, and increase crit rate and damage stats across the whole team.
You need to focus on energy regen and HP stats when it comes to echoes, along with a healing bonus main stat, if you have one. A full set of Rejuvenating Glow works best for Shorekeeper as it improves her healing abilities. Aim for anywhere from 140-250% energy regen to ensure her buffs are active as much as possible.
What are the best weapons for Shorekeeper?
The best Shorekeeper build includes her signature rectifier – Stellar Symphony. This perfectly matches her kit and adds even more boosts for your entire team.
Getting a limited five-star character and their limited weapon can be hard, so we can also recommend the four-star Variation to give Shorekeeper a little extra concerto energy boost. If you have the Comet Flare rectifier, this can improve Shorekeeper’s healing abilities so you can ensure constant safety for your team.
Stellar Symphony | Increase Shorekeeper’s HP by 12%. When casting her intro skill, she restores concerto energy and increases nearby party members’ attack for 30 seconds. This effect can trigger once every 20 seconds. Effects of the same name cannot stack | Weapon banner |
Variation | When using Shorekeeper’s resonance skill, she restores eight concerto energy. This can trigger once every 20 seconds | All banners |
Comet Flare | When hitting a target with basic or heavy attacks, increases Shorekeeper’s healing bonus by 3%, stacking up to three times. This effect lasts for eight seconds and can trigger once every 0.6 seconds | Standard banner |
Rectifier of Voyager | When Shorekeeper uses her resonance skill, she restores resonance energy. This effect can trigger once every 20 seconds | All banners |
What are the best Shorekeeper teams?
As a healer, you can use Shorekeeper in any team, really. She has no element-specific buffs but can boost the crit rate and crit damage of your entire party, making her an excellent support choice for any main DPS.
Though the Shorekeeper can give Rover, specifically, an extra energy regen boost, it’s not a huge buff so she is not tied to a team with the main character. You can safely use Shorekeeper alongside sub-DPS and buffers like Zhezhi, Sanhua, Yangyang, and Mortefi, too.
What are the best echoes for Shorekeeper?
Here are the echo sets we recommend for Shorekeeper:
- Five-piece set: Rejuvenating glow
- Two-piece sets: Rejuvenating glow, moonlit clouds
As she isn’t a damage dealer, we don’t recommend using the spectro damage-boost set of echoes. Stick to the healing set, rejuvenating glow.
To properly activate Shorekeeper’s buffs with her resonance liberation, you need at least 140% energy regen. While she grants herself a 10% boost and can get another 10% from using a Fallacy of No Return echo, you still need a fair chunk to ensure the 12.5% crit rate and 25% crit damage bonuses.
Fallacy of No Return | Summon the Fallacy of No Return’s power and deal a blast to the surrounding area, inflicting spectro damage. Shorekeeper then gains a 10% bonus energy regen and all team members 10% bonus attack for 20 seconds. Hold the echo skill to unleash a series of flurry assaults dealing spectro damage |
Bell-Borne Geochelone | Activating the Geochelone’s skill gives a shield to the character that lasts for three hits and provides a 50% damage reduction. Using this echo also deals heavy glacio damage one-time |

What are The Shorekeeper’s skills?
Here are all of The Shorekeeper’s skills, including her active and passive talents. There’s a lot going on here, with two upgrades to her deployable field, and plenty of extra unlockable boosts.
Active skills
Basic attack | Origin Calculus Shorekeeper performs up to four attacks, dealing spectro damage. Each hit generates one Collapsed Core |
Heavy attack | Holding normal attack sees Shorekeeper enter the Unbound Form, where she constantly uses stamina. In this form, she generates a segment of Deductive Data every second and automatically collects any plants nearby. Using all of her stamina ends the Unbound Form and deals an instance of spectro damage. Each segment of Deductive Data converts into a segment of Empirical Data and generates a Collapsed Core |
Mid-air attack | Consume stamina to plunge to the ground. Each hit generates one Collapsed Core. Pressing normal attack again performs basic attack stage two |
Dodge counter | Using a basic attack after a successful dodge will attack the target with spectro damage |
Resonance skill | Chaos Theory Restores HP to all party members, and summon five Dim Star Butterflies. These automatically attack targets with spectro damage. Using basic attack after this performs basic attack stage two. Shorekeeper can use this in mid-air |
Resonance liberation | End Loop Outer Stellarealm Generate an Outer Stellaream to heal all party members continuously when inside the realm’s range. This can trigger once every three seconds Inner Stellarealm When a party member uses an intro skill in an Outer Stellarealm, it turns into an Inner Stellaream. Within this, every 0.2% of Shorekeeper’s energy regeneration increases all party members’ crit rate by 0.01%, up to a maximum of 12.5%. On top of this, Inner Stellarealm heals the same as the Outer Supernal Stellarealm When a party member uses an intro skill within an Inner Stellarealm, it evolves into the Supernal Stellarealm. Within this, every 0.1% of Shorekeeper’s energy regen increases all teammate’s crit damage by 0.01%, up to 25% |
Passive skills
Intro skill | Proof of Existence Enlightenment Shorekeeper restores HP for all party members and summons five Dim Star Butterflies, which attack targets with spectro damage. This is considered as resonance skill damage Discernment When a Supernal Stellarealm is active, Shorekeeper’s first intro skill in the duration becomes Discernment instead. This ends the current Stellarealm and restores HP for all party members. It also deals spectro damage which is guaranteed to crit, dealing resonance liberation damage. Discernment can only trigger once in every Supernal Stellarealm |
Outro skill | Binary Butterfly Shorekeeper summons one Dim Star Butterfly and one Flare Star Butterfly. These circle the active character for 30 seconds. If the resonator on the field gets hit, using a dodge will allow them to immediately recover. The resonator can land on the ground. This can trigger five times. All party member’s damage increases by 15% as well |
Forte circuit | Astral Chord Flare Star Butterfly Hitting a target with a normal attack generates a Collapsed Core, which turns into a Flare Star Butterfly after six seconds. This tracks and attacks a target with spectro damage. If there are already five Collapsed Cores, Shorekeeper’s next normal attack hit converts one into a Flare Star Butterfly Illation When Shorekeeper has five segments of Empirical Data, using a heavy attack consumes all segments to pull in nearby targets, dealing spectro damage. Any Collapsed Cores turn into Flare Star Butterflies Transmutation When Shorekeeper has five segments of Empirical Data, using a mid-air attack consumes all segments to deal spectro damage. All Collapsed Cores turn into Flare Star Butterflies Empirical Data Shorekeeper can hold up to five segments. She gets one segment for each basic, mid-air, and dodge counter attack hits a target. She gets two segments if basic attack stage three hits a target |
Inherent skills
Life Entwined | When a resonator other than Shorekeeper takes a fatal blow, she protects them and gives 50% of her HP to them. Her own HP will not go below one during this. This can only trigger every ten minutes |
Self Gravitaiton | When a resonator is within a Stellarealm, Shorekeeper’s energy regeneration increases 10%. Rover’s energy regen also increases 10% if they are on the team |
Skill priority
- Resonance liberation > resonance skill > intro skill > forte circuit > basic attack
What is Shorekeeper’s resonance chain?
Getting more than one copy of Shorekeeper will unlock some extra skills in her kit. If you can, we recommend going for her R2 as it offers a massive attack bonus for your entire party.
Unspoken Conjecture | The Stellarealms generated by Shorekeeper’s resonance liberation gain enhancements: -The range of healing and buffs extends 150% -The duration extends 10 seconds -Casting intro skill no longer ends the current Stellarealm |
Night’s Gift and Refusal | The Outer Stellarealm now increases attack of party members by 40% |
Infinity Awaits Me | Casting Shorekeeper’s resonance liberation grants her 20 concerto energy. This can trigger once every 25 seconds |
Overflowing Quietude | Gain a 70% healing bonus when casting resonance skill (Chaos Theory) |
Echoes in Silence | Extends the range of Shorekeeper’s basic attack – stage three – by 50%, and Illation by 30% |
T0 the New World | Increases the damage multiplier of Shorekeeper’s intro skill by 42%. Using this increases her crit damage by 500% |
Who is Wuthering Waves The Shorekeeper?
This fancy-looking lady recently got announced by the Wuthering Waves Twitter account as a playable character, but it turns out that we’ve seen her before. Specifically, you can see her in the game’s release trailer as a butterfly starting at 0:45 seconds.
Known as The Shorekeeper, she’s a member of the Black Shores group and is the governing body behind it. She comes when summoned, and remains aloof otherwise. Now, it seems, she wants to connect with the world, so appears in a human form for us to recruit into our teams. According to Wuthering Waves Aalto, The Shorekeeper is an “ancient being, born with this planet. She is the will of the star and the reverberation of everything in this world”.
