Xenoblade Chronicles 3 collector’s edition overwhelms Nintendo store

Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s collector’s edition has been a long time coming, and now that you can pre-order it, the My Nintendo store can’t handle all the traffic

When Nintendo announced the Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s collector’s edition, it planned to release it on the same day the game came out. Sadly, that wasn’t possible, and multiple delays led the company to release the special edition items separately from the game itself.

Well, all this waiting made Xenoblade fans hungry, clearly, as the My Nintendo Store is currently inaccessible. With a note reading, “We’re currently experiencing a high number of customers on the site, please come back later”, and an option to contact the company, the demand for Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s collector’s edition is clearly higher than Nintendo was prepared for.

At least that means they may not all be sold out yet if you fancy grabbing one yourself. As I worked through the game for my Xenoblade Chronicles 3 review, I was certain I wanted to grab the collector’s edition. Now though, I’m not that interested. I’m just excited for what’s to come in the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 expansion pass, and little else.

When is the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 collector’s edition available?

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 collector’s edition is available now, assuming you can access the My Nintendo Store. At the time of writing, the site is inaccessible due to high traffic volumes.
