With this Xenoblade Chronicles amiibo guide, we’ll explain how amiibo can help with Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s combat. If you want to learn even more, check out our Xenoblade Chronicles 3 classes, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 characters, or Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Ouroboros guides.
You can read our Xenoblade Chronicles 3 review to see why we’ve written so much about it (spoiler: it’s because we love it). Or, we’ve got some guides to fill in the gaps, like our feature on Xenoblade Chronicles’ Operation Rainfall fan movement, or our Xenoblade Chronicles timeline to see how the new game fits into the series.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 amiibo
Which amiibo are compatible with Xenoblade Chronicles 3?
Revealed in the recent Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct, every single amiibo is compatible with Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Tap any amiibo to acquire helpful in-game items for your adventure. As of the time of writing, we don’t know if there‘s a daily limit to how many you can use, or how many items can be acquired, but we’ll update this guide once we have tested it for ourselves.
What does the Shulk amiibo do in Xenoblade Chronicles 3?
If you already own the Shulk amiibo from the Super Smash Bros line, good news! Tapping the Shulk amiibo changes a character’s sword to appear as the Monado when using Noah’s swordfighter class. It might not be quite the same as actually using Monado in the story, but getting to see Noah and friends unleash the Monado’s power is still pretty cool.
