Zenless Zone Zero’s Trigger can help you zap your foes into submission. Trigger is part of the OBOLS squad faction and deals out shock and stun attacks, and in this guide, we’ll go through everything you need to know about this long-range sniper.
Trigger shares the same faction as Zenless Zone Zero’s Soldier 11, but if you’re keen to learn even more about all of the Zenless Zone Zero characters, then check out our Zenless Zone Zero tier list, and make sure to snap up the new Zenless Zone Zero codes while you’re at it.
When is Zenless Zone Zero’s Trigger release date?
Trigger will arrive in-game during the Zenless Zone Zero update 1.6 on April 2, 2025. Be sure to check back in with us then, because we’ll update this guide with Trigger’s best W-Engines, drive discs, materials, and team comps. We’ll also make sure to go through all of her skills and mindscape cinemas so you can get the most out of this gunslinger and find out the name of her formidable weapon.
Make sure to tune in, because Trigger is an S-rank character, which means she’ll only be available to pull for a limited time with her own S-rank W-Engine weapon.

Who is Trigger, and what is her attribute?
Trigger is an S-rank speciality member of the OBOLS squad faction, and her attribute is Electric, so her kit will most likely center around this. We already know that she can stun and daze her enemies, and when sniping with her basic attack, you’ll start to build up Purge. Whenever the active agent utilizes this Purge, Trigger will automatically hop into the field of battle to snipe at your foes and deal out Aftershock attacks. You can then switch back to Trigger and initiate a devastating chain attack using Aftershock, which deals a huge amount of Electric damage.
Who are Trigger’s voice actors?
Unfortunately, we don’t yet know who is going to voice the English version of Trigger, but we do know that Nanjo Yoshino, who you might recognize as the voice of Honkai Star Rail’s Topaz, will lend her voice to the Japanese dub.
