A Short Hike is one of the few games I’ve played that I’d actually call perfect. And it seems I’m not the only one with lots of love for it, as Super Rare Games are releasing a physical version limited to 10k copies. This limit was raised from 6k after demand was so high.
It’s not just A Short Hike physical edition alone, however, as the game also comes with interior art, a full-colour manual, an exclusive sticker, and a set of three card trading card packs. All of this goes on sale at 18:00 BST / 13:00 EDT / 10:00 PDT on the Super Rare Games website
A Short Hike tells the story of Claire, a bird on a journey to hike up the mountain at the centre of the map. While that’s the final aim, the numerous people to meet, things to see, and stuff to do, make it the perfect chillout game. Its name is apt, too, with the game only taking around an hour if you’re moving at a decent pace.
