Naruto fans, rejoice as Bandai Namco has finally announced the Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections release date. Relive the legendary Hokage’s journey through epic battles and anime cutscenes and play through an all-new campaign following Boruto in a story never seen before in existing Naruto games.
Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections’ exclusive story, found in Special Story mode, takes place during the timeline of the Boruto anime, when the ninja world is at peace thanks to Naruto as Hokage. Boruto discovers a popular game called Ninja Heroes and befriends one of its navigators, Nanashi, while playing. Mysterious events threaten to start another ninja war, which you’ll have to experience for yourself by playing the game.
History Mode also lets you play through the entire stories of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in one place, using a mixture of combat gameplay and anime cutscenes from the beloved series. Plus, it wouldn’t be an Ultimate Ninja Storm game without battles. Free Battle and Network Battle modes offer a range of different casual and ranked fighting game scenarios for you to test your skills as the next great ninja.
This game also features over 130 playable characters, the most any Ultimate Ninja Storm game has seen so far. This includes Naruto’s son Boruto and Boro, Delta, and Koji Kashin, three members of the Kara organization.
When is the Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections release date?
Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections releases on the Nintendo Switch and other consoles on November 17, 2023. Pre-orders are open now for several versions ranging from a standard edition to a premium collector’s edition. Plus, if you pre-order any version of the game you’ll get two 20th-anniversary costumes for Naruto and Sasuke, plus a final battle costume for Naruto.
