PowerWash Simulator blasts onto Switch armed with fresh and free DLC

Scrub up with PowerWash Simulator on the Switch now that it has a release date for the full game, including some new soiled settings

PowerWash Simulator switch release: A cleaner outside the Croft Mansion

Get your wellies and your soaps, PowerWash Simulator is coming to Nintendo Switch at the end of January! A whole new audience of cleaners will be able to enjoy this relaxing experience in handheld mode.

PowerWash Simulator made a huge name for itself in 2022 when it left early access thanks to its relaxing and different gameplay. No one thought it would be as satisfying as it is, but oh boy, it sucks you in.

The game goes live on Switch consoles on January 31st, at 17:00 GMT/ 9:00 EST / 12:00 PST with all previous levels and challenges in it. There isn’t any crossplay for Switch players, unfortunately, but the cleaning experience is incredibly enjoyable alone nonetheless.

But wait, there’s more! The Tomb Raider Free Special Pack – yes, free – is releasing on all platforms at the same time, and it’s a hefty update. Set in Croft Manor, the DLC has a new story, and five levels to scrub your way through. The Special Pack will have us cleaning vehicles, the building’s fancy exterior, and even polishing up grimy furniture indoors for a change.

Interestingly, a fan on Twitter actually called this over a year ago, despite it being an out-of-the-blue collaboration between FuturLab’s squeaky-clean IP and the classic Tomb Raider franchise.

This pack is free to all players, on all platforms, and found in the ‘specials’ section of the menu along with the Mars Rover when it becomes available.

That’s all we currently know about the PowerWash Simulator Switch release date. For now, check out some other games to keep you occupied – perhaps our Persona 4 Switch review might tickle your fancy, or our A Space for the Unbound review instead?
