Crash Bandicoot helps Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 release on Switch

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will make its way to Switch later this year

Activision has revealed that a faithful remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will kickflip its way onto the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2021. The remaster will include all of the original levels, pro-skaters, and fancy old-school tricks you know and love, as well as some new, beautifully recreated levels.

Surprisingly, Crash Bandicoot is the one to thank for the Switch release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2. Following the reveal that Crash Bandicoot 4 is coming to the Nintendo Switch soon, Crash pulled some strings with Activision on Twitter in exchange for a customised skateboard from Tony Hawk himself.

The remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is available to preorder right now in select territories. We will update this page when Activision announces the release date for the Switch version, so make sure you keep it bookmarked to stay up to date.
