If you’re the sort of games journalist that just can’t get enough of wargames, tabletop, miniatures, board gaming, collectibles, and that entire funky side of gaming, then, boy, do we have the opportunity for you! The long-running website, Wargamer, which was acquired by Network N back in 2018, is about to get a relaunch with a snazzy new design. As part of that, Network N is looking to bring in an editor and staff writer to bring it to the next level.
So yes, that means a fancy new site, designed with the same principles as Pocket Tactics, PCGamesN, and The Loadout, and an entirely new workforce, which you could be a part of. We’re hiring for an editor, which would involve all aspects of content creation, from writing, to sub-editing, and commissioning, overseeing all editorial output, managing a team of freelancers, and, perhaps most importantly, helping the site to reach whole new levels of growth.
We’re also hiring a staff writer, which is an entry-level position, though expertise in the subject matter and journalistic ambitions are essential. You’ll be responsible for writing content for the site, cultivating relationships with developers, publishers, and PR, and assisting the editor with the growth strategy.
