The release of the latest Apple entertainment update looks back at the company’s recent success, and reveals just how successful the last 12 months has been for the giant in its media and gaming divisions. Apple calls 2022 a “groundbreaking year for entertainment,” and the blog shines a light on just how successful it is.

Diving into the Apple entertainment update, the tech giant reveals that Apple Arcade now has over 200 games, with over 50 arriving in 2022 alone. Meanwhile, between Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade, the company currently boasts more tha 900 million paid subscriptions across its many services.

Apple also confirms that since the launch of the App Store in 2008, the company has paid out $320 billion to developers selling digital goods and services. The App Store and the countless games on the service have clearly seen huge success over the last fifteen years, but $320 billion is a truly mammoth number and a reminder of the power of mobile experiences and the market potential for every developer out there. Who knows where that will be in a few more years?

With so many subscriptions, it’s no wonder that Apple consolidated the services into a single service called Apple One. Get a glimpse of the many services available with the Apple One trailer below.
