Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg is a reimagined version of a renowned game beloved by many. Return to the Royal Academy as Marie to make more magic and become a success. Koei Tecmo and developer Gust Studios announce that digital pre-orders for the remake are now live.
The Atelier Marie Remake is available on July 13, 2023, on the Nintendo Switch (and other platforms). For those who secure a pre-order, you get a snazzy pack of items called the ‘Useful Items Set’ – we’re intrigued to see what’s in it.
It isn’t just a standard version either – there’s a Digital Deluxe Edition coming that adds even more goodies. This edition includes the original game, Atelier Marie Plus, an extra background music pack (Gust Extra BGM Pack), and a shiny new costume set for characters. An upgrade pack is coming for those who already have a pre-order but feel the need for more.
It’s also the 25th anniversary of the Atelier series, and to celebrate, there are two free DLC packs coming with the game at launch. These include a 25 Glasses accessory and a music pack featuring background music from the series.
The game takes place in the city of Salburg, where we meet Marie, a struggling student at the Royal Magic Academy. In order to complete her education and impress her professors, she needs plenty of ingredients for potions, lotions, and spells.
These are treacherous to get, though, so you need to meet adventurers and other citizens to help on our trips outside the city. Visit the tavern to find and hire help and head to the weaponry store for brand-new items! Atelier Marie Remake promises a fresh look at an old favourite RPG.
