Testing for Battlefield Mobile begins this autumn

Battlefield Mobile testing starts this autumn for Android devices

A gun fight breaking out in Battlefield

Good news for those of you that enjoy a good shooter, especially if you’re in Indonesia or the Philippines, as Battlefield Mobile is rolling out this autumn for early play tests, starting in those two countries. However, according to its FAQ page, the game is only available on Android devices, so bear that in mind before letting your excitement take over.

Signing up is simple. Just head over to the Google Play store page as soon as the game lands in your region, sign up, and wait for confirmation when testing officially begins. However, pre-registration doesn’t guarantee that you get to take part due to the limited number of spaces available for testing – though you still get notifications for future releases.

Oh, and not to worry if you’re not in the Philippines or Indonesia because those are just the first two countries to get access. Electronic Arts are adding more regions as testing progresses. Eventually, there’s going to be a website that you can visit to pre-register your interest wherever you are, allowing you to receive notifications for future tests.

Given that testing is yet to begin, it’s safe to say the full release date is still a while away, but we do know that Battlefield Mobile is a free-to-play title. However, like most mobile shooters, the game features battle passes and a range of cosmetic items.
