December 24, 2020: Our Commandos 2 HD Remaster giveaway has now ended
There are few tactics games I remember as fondly as the Commandos series, and Commandos 2 in particular is an excellent installment, building on Behind Enemy Lines by adding both new features and an increased focus on action. Kalypso recently brought the Commandos 2 HD Remaster to Nintendo Switch, and though the original PC version had some issues, we generally found the Switch remaster to be a good port. It’s especially inventive for how it smartly adapts the heavy cursor based play of Commandos for a twin stick approach.
So this week, we’ve decided to partner with Kalypso to give away some Switch copies of this remastered classic. Take your team of crack operatives and infiltrate enemy territory, from castles, to U-Boat hangars, to occupied cities. You’ll always be outnumbered, but through utilising tactics you can even the odds, and find a way to complete your objective.
