Digimon Con 2023 is back for a second year after the success of the first instalment, with the promise of fresh information relating to cards, video games, toys, and more. With the success of Digimon Survive, selling over half a million units as of December 2022, and Digimon World: Next Order on its way, it’s a very good time to be a Digimon fan.

Despite only starting in 2022, it’s clear that Bandai Namco now envisions its Digimon Con events as yearly spectacles, lining up an exciting year of content for all of us Agumon fans desperately anticipating another video game title or spin-off anime series. Both PT editor Ruby and I are hoping for Digimon Survive 2, but really, we’ll take whatever we can get.

Not only does Digimon Con return in 2023, but it also brings with it another year of the Digimon Illustration challenge. The winners from this year recently saw their artwork on actual Digimon cards, so if you think of yourself as a potential card artist, be sure to keep your eyes peeled on the Digimon games Twitter for any further information.
