E3 lives on as ReedPop produces its 2023 in-person event

E3 is returning next year, and not just in an online format, as ReedPop is producing its in-person E3, so those that love games can get together again

Link riding a horse

Gamers around the world, today is joyous, for ReedPop is ensuring the return of E3 next year, as the behemoth games and events company is behind the production for next year’s get-together, which means many of you get to experience the magic of the world’s biggest games convention once again.

The E3 2023 news is most welcome after the sunset on E3 plans for this year, and fresh rumours began to swirl around that this signalled the end of the road for the much-loved games convention. Yet, thanks to the events organisation, developers, publishers, journalists, content creators, and, of course, consumers get to visit the showroom floor once again next year.

“It is a tremendous honour and privilege for ReedPop to take on the responsibility of bringing E3 back in 2023,” ReedPop president Lance Fensterman says. “With the support and endorsement of the ESA, we’re going to build a world-class event to serve the global gaming industry in new and broader ways than we already do at ReedPop through our portfolio of world-leading events and websites.”

When is E3 2023?

ReedPop’s production of E3 takes place in the second week of June, and it’s fair to say that those close to the event are excited for its future.

“We are thrilled to bring back E3 as an in-person event with ReedPop, a global leader in producing pop culture events.” ESA president and CEO Stanley Pierre-Louis explains. “The past three years have confirmed that E3 convenes our industry like no other event. ReedPop brings world-class talent and a keen understanding of the video game industry, which will serve to enhance the E3 experience for years to come.”
