Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters hit two million sales

Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters’ sales success hits a new milestone after launching on Nintendo Switch and other home consoles last month.

Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters have passed two million shipments and digital sales worldwide across all platforms. Originally launched on PC and mobile devices in 2021, the games have since made the leap to other platforms.

In our Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters review for Switch, we fell in love all over again with these classics, so it’s nice to see people picking the games up in their prettier form. And, while two million units doesn’t sound like much, it’s pretty darn good for games older than me.

Fingers crossed this sales success puts the Switch in a good light and we can get some more Final Fantasies on Nintendo’s hybrid. Lord knows we’d love a Final Fantasy 7 Remake Switch port.
