Fans of Garena's free-to-play battle royale game Free Fire got a special treat this past weekend, as they tuned in to enjoy a virtual concert performance with virtual band T.R.A.P. The dazzling live showcase was the finale of the Battle In Style global brand campaign which ran for the whole month of November. The event went hand-in-hand with Booyah Day – a special event that celebrated the addition of the new character Leon this year.
The four virtual band members – Kelly, Moco, Miguel, and Antonio – starred in a YouTube livestream on Saturday 27 November for the debut performance of their new singles, and reunited to perform the "Battle In Style" anthem as a group, which was inspired by the diversity of Free Fire's player base.
The song incorporates a number of different musical styles, with each element tied to a different member. Kelly brought the rhymes with her rap verse, while Moco brought glistening electronica beats, Miguel added funk into the mix, and Antonio introduced heavy metal to the piece. All of these sounds were blended to create a song that is intended to appeal to a wide range of fans.
Fans were also able to interact with the performance in real-time by voting, commenting, and adding visual effects to the performance. Players could even choose elements like pets and emotes to appear as part of the performance, as well as choosing vehicles used by the performers and outfits worn. Fans even got to enhance the visual effects in the live performance, such as Antonio's speed racing performance, which had fans live commenting furiously so he would drive faster in order to escape from an electrical wall.

The livestream event on YouTube brought together Free Fire fans around the globe, as many were seen commenting and interacting during the 20-minute extravaganza.
Prior to the virtual event, over 150 million players logged on to show their style and earn BOOYAHs by playing games of Garena Free Fire. Along with the new character, players were able to check out new in-game missions, costumes, rewards, and items. This aspect of the event hailed the entrance of a new playable character, Leon, who was given away for free to players who logged in on 20 November.

The success of this event means that plenty more limited-time events are sure to come to Garena Free Fire in the future. The developer Garena has confirmed that more Battle In Style content will be on the way as well.
