Very early on in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, you’ll meet a tiny guardian who accompanies you throughout your journey. Its name is unknown throughout most of the game, but it is Terrako and its purpose is soon made clear as it sticks very closely to Zelda, the princess of Hyrule.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has a bunch of hidden characters that you can unlock by meeting some pre-existing conditions. One of them is actually this little robot, and it turns out it’s a badass once it’s fixed up. As it turns out, Terrako got a wee bit damaged on its journey through time and needs some parts to fix it.
The bad news is that you can’t unlock Terrako, one of the secret Age of Calamity characters, until after the main campaign. You will also need to complete a whole bunch of Age of Calamity quests and challenges, and knowing which of those helps unlock Terrako can be daunting if you’ve not been completing them as you go along. We’ll be showing you every step you need to take to unlock this hidden character.
How do I unlock Terrako?
To unlock Terrako in Age of Calamity, you will need to:
- Complete the main campaign
- Upon re-entering the game, several new quests will appear with Terrako icons. There are also unrelated quests and challenges that give Terrako Parts, needed to complete, so we highly recommend you use the Sheikah Sensor to highlight these quests
- Collect 50 Terrako Parts by completing quests, then finish ‘Terrako’s Return’ to repair Terrako
It may look rather simple just listed out here, but nabbing 50 Terrako Parts is going to take a lot of time. We will eventually list all of the quests that you need to complete to unlock Terrako, but since you’re here, why not check out our Age of Calamity items guide to help with resource collection for other quests?
There’s also a bunch of unlockable Age of Calamity merchants who might be able to sell you items to help you throughout the game.
